Brief Biography

Mr Chrispin Gogoda is currently studying for a PhD in Renewable Energy Systems with focus on Energy Storage at Loughborough University, England (United Kingdom). He holds an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology (Merit) obtained in 2015 from Loughborough University and a BSc (with a First Class) in Renewable Energy Technologies obtained in 2008 from Mzuzu University, Malawi. Chrispin also holds a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (City and Guilds-UK) and a Level 6 Diploma in Business Management (ABE-UK). Before Joining Mzuzu University in 2012, Mr Chrispin Gogoda had worked as a Lecturer and Vice Registrar at Shareworld University, Malawi. In the Department of Energy Studies, his teaching and research interest is in solar photvoltaics, energy storage, and renewable energy entrepreneurship models. Mr Chrispin Gogoda heads the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Energy Storage Research Group.
