Brief Biography

Mr. Vincent Mwale holds an MSc in Energy Technology from Makelle University in Ethiopia.  He also holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering obtained in 2001 from the Polytechnic, University of Malawi, and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. His teaching and research interest are in renewable energy technology development, wind energy system testing, performance and monitoring, environmental management and engineering design. Before joining Mzuzu University, Mr. Mwale worked for Malawi Institution of Engineers and in the insurance industry. He also worked as a secondary school teacher in the civil service. His teaching and research interests are in wind energy, entrepreneurship, engineering design, fluid mechanics and hydropower.
