Department of Land Management

Rationale
The department of Land Management was established in 2007. The department is motivated by the challenges associated  with land management as a resource for development which we want to be part of the solution through training manpower in public, civil society and private sectors in the fields of; land surveying and mapping, physical planning, construction, estates management, housing and urban development. We also want to spur new thinking, new knowledge and innovation about sustainable land use at the local, national, regional and global levels.

Vision
Sustainable land use and management for all.

Mission
To contribute to global efforts to achieve development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs through training human resources at undergraduate, masters and PhD degree levels and undertake research to generate new knowledge that will contribute to resolving problems facing the governments, private sector and civil societies dealing with land development and real estates.
