Biography
Reuben Moyo is a Lecturer in the Department of ICT at Mzuzu University with over a decade of experience in academia and the tech industry. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Data Science at the University of Dar es Salaam and holds a Master of Engineering in Information and Communication Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China.
Reuben’s expertise spans data science, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, and software development. He has played a pivotal role in various innovation-driven projects, most notably as the technical lead behind MiLab, a game-based virtual science lab app that enhances access to science education in Malawian secondary schools.
In addition to his academic work, Reuben serves as a Product Development Engineer at iSConsult and has contributed to research in areas such as computer vision and mobile phone detection in examination settings. He is passionate about IT management, AI, and developing scalable solutions that address local and regional challenges in education and technology.
