Mzuzu University Announces Details for Short Course Candidates

Mzuzu, October 23, 2023 — Mzuzu University, a leading institution of higher learning, is excited to welcome candidates who have been selected to pursue short courses in Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) and Community and Primary Health Care Promotion (CPHCP). The University Registrar has released essential details and arrangements to ensure a smooth start to these courses.

Key Information for Candidates:

1. Registration and General Orientation:
Registration and general orientation will be conducted at all Satellite Learning Centres from Monday, 30th October, 2023, to Tuesday, 31st October, 2023. To complete the registration process, candidates are required to make a payment of at least half of the course fees. These fees should be deposited into the official bank account provided below:

It is crucial that candidates indicate their name and the course they are admitted to on the bank deposit slip. Bank deposit slips or transaction references must be presented to the Satellite Learning Centre Manager during registration. Beware of unauthorized payment requests through mobile wallet platforms.

2. Face to Face Module Facilitation:
Module facilitation will be conducted at all Satellite Learning Centres from Wednesday, 1st November, 2023, to Friday, 3rd November, 2023. All candidates are required to attend.

3. Online Module Facilitation:

• ECDE Candidates: Monday, 6th November, 2023, to Friday, 24th November, 2023.
• CPHCP Candidates: Monday, 6th November, 2023, to Friday, 19th January, 2024.

Candidates should ensure they have access to an appropriate ICT gadget (smartphone/laptop/tablet).

4. Practical Sessions:

• ECDE Candidates: Monday, 27th November, 2023, to Friday, 2nd February, 2024.
• CPHCP Candidates: Monday, 22nd January, 2024, to Friday, 22nd March, 2024.

5. Christmas and New Year Break:
A Christmas and New Year break will be observed from Monday, 25th December, 2023, to Friday, 5th January, 2024.
