Biomedical Sciences courses list

Below is a list of taught courses for each semester on this programme

Brief description of Biomedical Sciences

Biomedical Sciences department was established in 2007 under Faculty of Health Sciences. Since then, it has produced several graduates working in public and private hospital laboratories and research institutions. The program enrolls candidates with good MSCE as generic students and those with a Diploma in Biomedical Sciences are enrolled as Upgrading students. The program runs for 4 years for generic candidates while Upgrading students do it for 2 years but the two groups both graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences

Enrollment

Generic Candidates are required to have 6 strong credits in their MSCE including Mathematics, English, Biology, Physical Science and Chemistry. For Upgrading students, they are required to meet similar entry requirements with their MSCE and at least 2 years of clinical practice for admission.
