In 1998, I rejoined the University of Malawi, Chancellor College and received a Masters degree with credit in Theology and Religious Studies in 2001.
From 2002 to 2007 I worked on my PhD in Church History with Chancellor College and transferred my candidature to University of the Free State in 2008. I received my PhD in Church history and Polity from University of the Free State, Bloemfontein in 2011
