Department Geo- Programmes.

Undergraduate courses in geosciences

The current structure of the courses is designed to cater for the training needs of secondary school teachers as the Faculty of Education requires. However with an addition of a few more courses, improved course structures will soon pursue BA/BSc programmes in Environment and Development, Urbanisation and Development, and Disaster Risk Reduction and Mitigation. The delivery of courses suitable for the training of secondary school teachers will be maintained.  Doing so will not, in the short term, necessitate recruitment of additional staff. However, additional staff will be need to be recruited  to keep up with the new bachelor’s programmes.  ea behind Base UI.
