
Biography
Vision Thondoya is a Systems Developer at Mzuzu University, where he contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of software systems that enhance both academic and administrative functions. He played a leading role in building the Mzuzu University Integrated Management Information System (IMIS), a core platform that supports operations across departments.
With a background in software engineering and a strong passion for innovation, Vision has worked on nationally recognized projects such as the Milab simulation app and the Unipod Management Information System. His work focuses on translating user requirements into practical solutions, cleaning legacy data for system migration, and resolving technical issues across university platforms like iNIST.
In addition to his development work, Vision has served as an adjunct lecturer at Mzuzu University, teaching programming courses such as Mobile App Development and Java Programming. He is passionate about helping students understand programming concepts through hands-on learning and real-world application.
Vision is currently exploring machine learning and spatial computing to create impactful digital solutions that support education and institutional development.
